Holiday Caravan Terms and Conditions

To enable everyone who uses the caravan to get maximum enjoyment from their holiday, please take note of the following Terms and Conditions:        

1. The contract is for the hire of the property for short term letting, and will be entered into when Jenny Shaw makes written confirmation of the booking to the hirer, and required payment has been received.
   
   
2. A deposit of 20% of the total value of the holiday is required to confirm the booking. 
   
   
3. The balance of the rental fee will be due for payment four weeks before the holiday commencement date.
   
   
4. If the booking is made within four weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full accommodation rental fee will be required when booking.
   
   
5. Upon receipt of the booking form and the deposit, Jenny Shaw will forward to the address given in the booking form, confirmation showing the balance and due date.
   
   
6. Failure to make full payment at the appropriate time will result in the cancellation of the booking and the deposit forfeited.
   
   
7. It is at the entire discretion of Jenny Shaw as to whether or not a booking is accepted and it is a term of the hire, that on arrival Jenny Shaw has the discretion to refuse admittance if, she does not consider the hirer to be suitable and the hirers shall only be entitled to a full refund of any monies that have been paid, without any right or redress for any other loss however suffered or sustained.
   
   
8. In the event of the hirer needing to cancel, please contact Jenny Shaw as soon as possible so the property can be re-let, then and only then can all paid fees be refunded to the hirer, less 10% charge for administration.
   
   
9. The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take reasonable care of it.  All equipment and utensils etc, and the property itself are to be left clean and tidy at the end of the stay.  All damages / breakages should be reported.  Jenny Shaw reserves the right to charge for any serious damage, breakages or extra cleaning which are not deemed to be normal wear and tear.
   
   
10. Pets will be accepted on the condition specified at the time of booking. Details must be stated clearly on the booking form.
    
    
11. Short breaks are at the discretion of Jenny Shaw.  Minimum stay to be of no less than two nights.
    
    
12. During Peak season, arrival and departure is usually Saturday for weekly lets.  Out of season it is negotiable with Jenny Shaw
    
    
13. The caravan will be ready for occupation after 2:00 pm, and it should be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed with Jenny Shaw.
    
    
14. A minimum charge of 10:00 is made for the return of lost property after your departure. Jenny Shaw accepts no responsibility for items reported lost which cannot be found.  Property is at all times the responsibility of its owner. 
    
    
15. Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated on the booking form occupy the property. 
    
    
16. The leader of the party must be over 21 years
    
    
17. No single sex groups.
    
    
18. Directions will be sent when full payment has been received.
    
    
19. All bedding is provided for stays of three nights and over. 
    
    
20. Where necessary, parents of small children must provide suitable waterproof protective sheeting to avoid damage to bedding.
    
    
21. The caravan is strictly no smoking
    
    
22. Well behaved dogs are allowed at the discretion of Jenny Shaw
